Food
Yes, you need to get a Food Worker’s Card, issued by the Benton County Health Department, which you will get after taking a Food Handler class. But first, download the Food Safety Self-Training Manual (available in multiple languages) so you can study it (if you want to pick up a hard copy of the manual, you can check your local library or go to the Environmental Health Office).

If you have a current valid Food Worker’s Card issued by an Oregon county health department, it is valid anywhere in Oregon for three years.
The Food Worker Card is good for three years from the time it is issued to you. If your card is about to expire, you must attend a training and take the exam in order to obtain a new card. Our Food Safety page has all the information you should need.
